Første bog, den anmelderroste HAABET, er en tankevækkende, spændende og MEGET barsk roman om Danmarks tid som slavenation. Tusindvis af slaver blev brugt i de danske sukkerplantager på De Vestindiske Øer.
Forfatteren Mich Vraa fortæller om sin roman HAABET og om den historiske baggrund, slavetiden og Dansk Vestindien.
PETERS KÆRLIGHED er anden og selvstændige bind i trilogien. Den udkommer den 18. august 2017.
Her finder man nogle af de samme hovedpersoner, men først og fremmest finder man Peter von Scholten, Vestindiens sidste generalguvernør som den 3. juli 1848 sagde de berømte ord til slaverne på Sankt Croix: ”Now you are free!” Romanen fortæller von Scholtens utrolige historie.
