Hollie McNish og Michael Pedersen er to af Storbritanniens og Skotlands mest elskede digtere. Efter en række udsolgte liveoplæsninger i Storbritannien og Europa, kan du nu opleve dem i Poesiens Hus, hvor digterne har deres længe ventede Danmarks-debut.
Oplev stærkt sprog og smuk poesi, når Hollie McNish og Michael Pedersen mødes i samtale og læser op fra deres seneste digtsamlinger, Lobster and other things I'm learning to love og The Cat Prince.

Om Hollie McNish Hollie McNish er digter og forfatter med base i både Glasgow og Cambridge. Hun var den første digter, der indspillede i Abbey Road Studios. Hun har vundet Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry for sit poetiske forældrememoir - Nobody Told Me - som The Scotsman omtalte således: 'The World Needs this Book'. Hollie McNish har udgivet yderligere fire digtsamlinger – Papers, Cherry Pie, Plum and Slug, som var en Sunday Times bestseller. Hendes nye bog, Lobster and other things I'm learning to love, udkom i marts 2024. Hun elsker at skrive.

Om Michael Pedersen Michael Pedersen er en prisvindende skotsk digter og forfatter. Han er i øjeblikket Writer in Residence ved University of Edinburgh og har udgivet tre roste digtsamlinger. Hans prosa-debut, Boy Friends blev udgivet i 2022 i Storbritannien og Nordamerika og var et Sunday Times Critics Choice. Han vandt et Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship, John Mather's Trust Rising Star of Literature Award og var finalist til 2018 'Årets forfatter' ved The Herald Scottish Culture Awards. Michael Pedersen har samarbejdet med musikere, filmskabere og billedkunstnere.

About Hollie McNish
Hollie McNish is a poet and author based between Glasgow and Cambridge. She was the first poet to record at Abbey Road Studios, London and won the Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry for her poetic parenting memoir – Nobody Told Me - of which The Scotsman stated ‘The World Needs this Book’. She has published four further collections of poetry – Papers, Cherry Pie, Plum and Slug, which was a Sunday Times bestseller and translated into French under the title Je souhaite seulement que tu fasses quelque chose de toi. About Michael Pedersen
Michael Pedersen is a prize-winning Scottish poet, author, scribbler, stitcher. He is currently Writer in Residence at The University of Edinburgh. He's unfurled two acclaimed collections of poetry with Polygon Books with a third (The Cat Prince & Other Poems) published by Corsair/Little Brown in July 2023. His prose debut, Boy Friends, was published by Faber & Faber in 2022 in the UK & North America and was a Sunday Times Critics Choice. He won a Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship, the John Mather's Trust Rising Star of Literature Award, and was a finalist for the 2018 ‘Writer of the Year’ at The Herald Scottish Culture Awards.
