En aften om Oldtidssagaerne
Redaktør Annette Lassen gæster litteratursalonen NordOrd og fortæller om nyoversættelsen af Oldtidssagaerne.

I foråret gæstede Annette Lassen vores litteratursalon og fortalte om nyoversættelsen af Islændingesagaerne. Nu vender hun tilbage og fortæller om Oldtidssagaerne, hvis levende beretninger også er blevet nyoversat.
Oldtidssagaerne har fra gammel tid spillet en enorm rolle for vores viden om den ældre danske historie. Og uden oldtidssagaerne ville den danske sagnhistorie ganske enkelt være både kortere og kedeligere. Med dette kulturhistorisk vigtige oversættelsesprojekt tilvejebringes den første samlede oversættelse af oldtidssagaerne, som nu bliver tilgængelige for de danske læsere i et mundret og moderne sprog.
Ph.d. Annette Lassen er lektor ved Den Arnamagnæanske Samling og redaktør på oversættelsesprojektet.
Sagaaften i NordOrd
Arrangementet varer små to timer (inkl. kort pause og spørgetid). De første fire af i alt seks planlagte bind med Oldtidssagaerne vil kunne købes i litteratursalonens café, der åbner en time før arrangementet starter.
