Casper Mikkelsens jazzband tager os igennem forskellige stilarter for både børn og voksne, når vi skal igennem en fanJAZZtisk trommerejse. Hvor kommer trommerne egentlig fra? Hvordan blev de til et trommesæt? Må man slå på trommer i en biograf, og hvad har det med jazz at gøre? En FanJAZZtisk Trommerejse er en musikalsk mættet koncert, der fortæller trommernes og jazzmusikkens historie fra Afrikas savanne til New Yorks asfaltjungle. Koncerten byder på et overflødighedshorn af musik lige fra bedrøvet blues til hæsblæsende swingmusik. Casper Mikkelsen Dejlige Jazzband leverer det hele med et glimt i øjet, imponerende håndværk og medrivende entusiasme!
