Ambitionen er at levere sjov, underholdende og oplysende danmarkshistorie uden fodnoter og lange videnskabelige udredninger, en bog, som gerne må både ophidse, provokere og begejstre undervejs.
Asser serverer denne aften en underholdende fortælling om både befrielsen, den danske selvforståelse og ikke mindst om hvorfor vi skal blive ved med interessere os for vores historie.
Asser har en fortid som museumsleder og højskoleforstander og arbejder i dag som direktør for skoleskibet Georg Stage.
