Igen i år arrangerer Museum Lolland-Falster historiske salonaftner på Reventlow-Museet Pederstrup. Hen over sæsonen vil museet gå i dybden med udvalgte temaer fra årets særudstilling ARVEN EFTER STRUENSEE for at blive klogere på elskeren, politikeren og manden Struensee.
Årets sidste salon går i dybden med etikette dengang og i dag, når 1700-tallets sociale normer undersøges. For hvad kræver det at begå sig ved hoffet og blandt kongelige, og hvornår og hvordan bliver grænserne for god opførsel overskredet. Under Christian VIIs og Caroline Mathildes velmagtsdage blev nye omgangsformer introduceret ved det danske hof. Som noget nyt kom muligheden for at gå på maskerade til. Skjult bag farverige dragter og smukke masker gav maskeraderne nye muligheder for omgang med hinanden, hvilket bl.a. Caroline Mathilde og Struensee benyttede sig af. Nye normer kom til, og gamle etiketteregler blev brudt i de løsslupne dage, inden alt brast med Struensees fald.
Sociale normer, udskrevne spilleregler og god opførsel vil i aftenens salon blive undersøgt og udforsket på tværs af tid – for hvordan forholder det sig i dag med etikette og regler for god opførsel?
Inkluderet i prisen er kaffe/te og kage samt adgang til årets særudstilling.
