Akademisk Kor synger sommeren ind med engelske aftentoner i en evensong sammensat af håndplukkede favoritter med respekt for traditionen.
Evensong er den anglikanske pendant til vesper - en sunget aftenbøn. Sidste sommer var vores indre kompas østvendt, da vi opførte Rachmaninovs Vesper, i år krydser vi en mental Nordsø og opfører en Evensong efter engelsk tradition. Traditionelt er Evensong en helt særegen tone af stemmer og orgel. Af det flerstemmige og det enstemmige i harmonier og opbygninger, som emmer af engelsk tradition og kirkerum.
Vi har under kyndig vejledning sammensat vores eget bud på en Evensong, der ligger godt i munden på Akademisk Kor og samtidig er tro mod traditionen.
