Fra og med den 4. oktober 2021 til og med den 13. december afholder Elin Brimheim Heinesen F'LJÓÐ arrangementer med musik og litteratur hveranden mandag aften fra kl. 20:00 til 22:00 i sit hyggelige hjem midt i Tórshavns hjerte. F'LJÓÐ's vært, Elin Brimheim Heinesen, er en kendt singer-songwriter på Færøerne. Hun byder velkommen til en inspirerende aften i hendes hjem i Magnus Heinasonar gøta 8 i downtown Tórshavn, tidligere ejet af den kendte, nu afdøde Benny Samuelsen, som i mange år var chefredaktør for den færøske avis, Dimmalætting (Daggry), og som boede i huset det meste af sit liv.
Elin’s stue er en varm og hyggelig ramme om F'LJÓÐ stuekoncerterne og de litterære aftener. Som gæst vil du opleve live musik, historiefortælling og oplæsning af litteratur. Du får også serveret kaffe, te og kage og får lov til at nyde vintage møblerne og den smukke færøske kunst på væggene – det meste tidligere ejet af Elin‘s afdøde forældre – hendes far, den kendte færøske forfatter Jens Pauli Heinesen, og hendes mor Maud Heinesen, også forfatter, men af børnebøger.
Program for aftenerne:
20:00 - Værten, Elin Brimheim Heinesen, ønsker personligt gæsterne velkommen og viser dem ind i stuen, hvor de vil blive siddende det meste af aftenen
20:10 - Elin fortæller gæsterne om sin baggrund, om sine forældre og om huset, dets historie og dets tidligere beboere, om F'LJÓÐ konceptet og om programmet for aftenen
20:20 - Første halvdel af koncerten.
20:50 - Pause og tid til kaffe, te og kage (inkl. i prisen). Gæsterne har også tid til at få noget frisk luft og ryge en smøg udenfor
21:05 - Elin læser brudstykker op fra hendes nu afdøde fars litteratur, den færøske forfatter Jens Pauli Heinesen
21:15 - Anden halvdel af koncerten: Elin spiller nogle helt nye sange, hun har lavet til digte af sin far, Jens Pauli Heinesen, og afslutter koncerten med hendes og hendes far's mest kendte sang "Eitt dýpi av dýrari tíð" (Et dyb af dyrebar tid)
21:45 - Inden gæsterne går, får de mulighed for at købe de optrædendes musik album som et minde om aftenen - til en reduceret pris og signeret af de optrædende personligt

F'LJÓÐ Living Room Concert and Literary Evening with Elin Brimheim Heinesen
From October 4th to December 13th Elin Brimheim Heinesen will organize F'LJÓÐ events with music and litterature every other Monday evening at 8 pm to 10 pm in her cozy home in downtown Tórshavn. The host of the F'LJÓÐ events, Elin Brimheim Heinesen, is a well-known singer-songwriter in the Faroe Islands. She welcomes you to an inspiring evening in her home in Magnus Heinasonar gøta 8 in downtown Tórshavn, formerly owned by the late Benny Samuelsen, long time chief editor of the Faroese news paper, Dimmalætting (Dawn), who lived in this house most of his life.
Elin’s living room provides a warm and cozy setting for the F'LJÓÐ living room concerts and literary evenings. As a guest you will experience live music, storytelling and readings of literature. You will also be served coffee, tea and cakes as you get enjoy the vintage furniture and the beautiful Faroese art on the walls – most of it formerly owned by Elin‘s late parents – her father, the famous Faroese author Jens Pauli Heinesen, and her mother Maud Heinesen, also a writer, but of children's books.
Programme for the evenings:
8:00 PM - The host, Elin Brimheim Heinesen, welcomes the guests in person and shows them to the living room, where they will be seated for most of the evening
8:10 PM - Elin tells the audience about her background, about her parents and about the house, its history and its former inhabitants, about the concept of the F'LJÓÐ events and the programme for the evening
8:20 PM - First half of the concert: Elin sings and plays 6 of her own songs from her latest album "Handan stjørnurnar" (Beyond the Stars)
8:50 PM - Break and time for coffee, tea and cake (included in the price). Guests also have time to get some fresh air and/or smoke a cigarette outside
9:05 PM - Elin reads excerpts from her late fathers literature, the Faroese author Jens Pauli Heinesen
9:15 PM - Second half of the concert: Elin plays some new songs she has made to poems by her father, Jens Pauli Heinesen, and finishes the concert with her and her father's most well-known song "Eitt dýpi av dýrari tíð" (A Chasm of Precious Time)
9:45 PM - Before the guests leave, they are offered the possibility to buy the performers' music albums as a memory of the evening - for a reduced price and signed by the performers personally
10:00 PM - The evening ends

Elin Brimheim Heinesen is the organizer of F’LJÓÐ room concerts and literature evenings.
The F'LJÓÐ events take place in Magnus Heinasonar gøta 8 in the heart of Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands.
The purpose of the F’LJÓÐ events is to create a very special intimate and cosy mini-stage for music (and sometimes also literature) for the joy and benefit of both musicians and listeners.
The events give the participants very special music and cultural experiences, while also giving the participants the opportunity to support a charitable cultural purpose, with coffee, tea and cake served on top. At the same time the concerts are also an obvious opportunity for those who perform to give their followers a very special experience, and perhaps also get brand new followers who appreciate their music.

F'LJÓÐ arrangementerne finder sted i Magnus Heinasonar gøta 8 i Tórshavn, Færøerne.
Formålet med F’LJÓÐ arrangementerne er at skabe en helt særlig intim og hyggelig mini-scene for musik (og nogle gange også litteratur) til glæde og gavn både for musikere og tilhørere.
