Oplev enestående musik af electronica-musikkens bedstemor, Else Marie Pade (1924-2016), og den elektroakustiske komponist Birgitte Alsted (f. 1942) – og få derudover en introduktion til deres inspirationskilder, henholdsvis Job og Faust, ved filosof Ole Fogh Kirkeby. Samleoverskriften er ‘Afmagt’. Efterfølgende byder vi på et glas vin.

MERE OM ARRANGEMENTET

Denne aften spilles dele af Else Marie Pades værk ‘Faust’ fra 1962. Det drejer sig om ‘Faust og Mefisto’ og ‘Fausts og Margrethes kærlighed’. Dernæst spilles Birgitte Alsteds værk ‘Sorgsang II’ (1992), der er skabt med inspiration fra Jobs Bog fra Det Gamle Testamente.
Aftenen indledes af filosof Ole Fogh Kirkeby, der vil tale om, hvordan Jobs og Fausts skæbner hver på deres måde belyser begrebet afmagt. Job er den hæderlige og vellidte mand, som uretfærdigt rammes og udfordres i sit gudsforhold. Faust derimod indgår en alliance med Mefisto og mister sig selv. Der er afmagt i magten hos Faust.
Musikforsker Ingeborg Okkels introducerer Pades værk, og Birgitte Alsted sit eget værk. Til slut vil der være mulighed for spørgsmål fra salen og samtale og debat mellem de tre oplægsholdere.
Efter koncerten er der mulighed for at fortsætte samtalen over et glas vin (inkluderet i prisen).
