ABOUT TONIGHT'S MOVIE [English below]
A man and a woman are in a car, speeding down the road. Out of the blue, they hit a cyclist, but leave him behind.
This accident sets off a chain of anxieties and events, and this chain forms the plot of Juan Antonio Bardem's masterful 1955 drama, set in his contemporary Francoist Spain, where the regime often subjected his work to heavy censorship.
The film won awards at several foreign film festivals, and is the perfect way to begin of series of Iberian films - we look forward to watching it with you!
The screening begins at 19.30.
