Arne Würgler var med i forreste række fra allerførste dag, da ungdomsoprøret nåede Danmark i 1968. Som han selv fortæller:
Vi ønskede et nyt og aldrig før set kærligt samfund. Fri for hverdagens grå trivialitet og ligegyldige forbrug. Der skulle være plads til drømmene - og ikke mindst musikken. På en lastvogn blev Burnin Red Ivanhoe d. 21 marts kl. 15 1968 kørt ind i Studiegården i det indre København. Vi satte strøm til forstærkerne og stak den en. Vi var fire mand, saxofon, guitar, bas og trommer.
I anledning af jubilæet og 60 år som udøvende musiker har jeg lavet et musikforedrag, hvor jeg fortæller historien om 68´ernes oprør med pandebånd, kollektiv og fri kærlighed, EF afstemning, 70´ernes store demonstrationer og krise, klassekamp og kærlighed på det indre og ydre plan.
Lad os sammen genopleve vores fælles historie med massere af musik og humor. Super-relevant i vores splittede og svære samtid, med folk på flugt og uden større visioner og sande værdier.
