Onsdag den 11. oktober kl. 17 inviterer vi i samarbejde med Ordrupgaard og museumsinspektør Jacob Riis til foredrag om Finn Juhl og Ordrupgaard. Foredraget foregår hos os på Kløvermarksvej 70:
Ordrupgaard er ikke bare et museum for dansk og fransk kunst. Huset, der er opført i 1918, har tilhørt forsikringsdirektør Wilhelm Hansen og bærer stadig præg af Hansen-familiens private gemakker, med møblement og kunsthåndværk intakt.
Ordrupgaard overtog Finn Juhls hus med inventar i 2007 som en donation. Huset åbnede for offentligheden i 2008 og indgår i dag som en fast del af Ordrupgaards samling.
Således repræsenterer Finn Juhls hus og Ordrupgaard på bedste vis hver deres stilistiske periode.
Tag med på en rejse gennem husenes interiører, og følg udviklingen af dansk møbelarkitektur og kunsthåndværk fra slutningen af 1800-tallets klunkestil, gennem det tidlige 1900-tals Arts and Crafts-stil til den danske højmodernisme med de danske møbelarkitekter, heriblandt Finn Juhl.
Billetter koster 75 kr. og bestilles her (gennem Billetto). Vi serverer et glas vin/vand og lidt snacks til foredraget.
