Annemarie Krarup vil fortælle om Skjoldungerne og den nordiske mytologi, som knytter sig til vores område (Roskilde).
Vores område indebærer Nationalpark Skjoldungernes Land: Nationalparken er opkaldt efter den navnkundige sagnkongeslægt Skjoldungerne. Slægten er efterkommerne efter den mytiske Kong Skjold, som blev sendt til danerne af selveste Odin. Skjoldungerne kendes fra Saxos Danmarkskrønnike, Islandske sagaer og det berømte oldengelske Beowulf-kvad og andre kilder, som henfører dem til Lejre.

Annemarie Krarup er en efterspurgt historiefortæller som i flere år har fortalt historier med ord, sang og instrumenter både i Danmark og i udlandet.
I Skjoldungelandet og omegn har hun stået bag fortællefestivaler på Vikingeskibsmuseet og i Sagnlandet Lejre, og hun fortæller desuden sine eventyrlige og billedskabende historier i både klostre, kirker, skoler, sognegårde, biblioteker, bosteder, ved fjorden og i skoven og til fortællefestivaler i flere landet.
