De amerikanske Jomfruøer efter 1917
I år er det 100 år siden, Danmark solgte de tre caribiske øer til USA. I Danmark gik der en folkeafstemning forud for salget af Dansk Vestindien, mens vestinderne ikke fik lov til at stemme. Hvad tænkte de egentlig om salget på Jomfruøerne, hvad skete der i årene efter 1917 og hvordan blev Danmark husket? Det er nogle af de spørgsmål, forsker i erindringspolitik, Astrid Nonbo Andersen, vil tage fat på. Efter foredraget er der et traktement med rom og kage, samt omvisning i Skivemuseets samling, som rummer skydeskiver med motiver fra Dansk Vestindien.
