I forbindelse med særudstillingen ’Lyden af København’ dykker vi ned i københavnernes had-/kærlighedsforhold til byens støj. En støj, der bredte sig i 1800-tallets København, da byen skiftede fra indesluttet fæstningsby til moderne, industrialiseret metropol. I den periode klagede københavnerne flittigt over støjen fra gadesælgere, kobbersmede, omnibusser, fabrikslarm, sporvogne og de første biler, der var årsag til både nervelidelser og indlæggelser. Samtidig blev københavnerne også besat af lyd og lytning, og hvis man elsker byens larm, er det efterhånden et tegn på, at man er en ægte københavner.
Foredraget holdes af museumsinspektør og seniorforsker Jakob Ingemann Parby, Københavns Museum.
Arrangementet er en del af Golden Days 2025.
