Kom til forelæsning og åbningsceremoni d. 28. april 2017, når vi slår dørene op for udstillingen ’Moving Materials - Hiroshi Sambuichi’ af den japanske stjernearkitekt, Hiroshi Sambuichi.
Hiroshi Sambuichi står i dag som en af den bæredygtige arkitekturs fremmeste eksperimentalister. Sambuichis arkitektur drives af naturens kræfter - af bevægelserne i vand, luft og lys. Hans lavteknologiske tilgang er blevet et eksemplarisk billede på, hvordan man lever bæredygtigt og poetisk i samspil med naturen og imødekommer de globale udfordringer, vi står overfor i det 21. århundrede.
Før udstillingsåbningen har du muligheden for at komme helt tæt på arkitekten, når Mr. Sambuichi afholder forelæsning på Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademis Arkitektskole (KADK). Efterfølgende kan du gå på opdagelse i udstillingen i Dansk Arkitektur Center og få indblik i arkitektens fantastiske værker og arbejdsprocesser.
Udstillingen og forelæsningen er en del af den samlede kulturelle indsats i forbindelse med den officielle fejring af 150-året for de dansk-japanske diplomatiske relationer.

14:00-16:00: Festforelæsning ved Mr. Hiroshi Sambuichi i festsalen på KADK
17:00-18:00: Udstillingsåbning i Dansk Arkitektur Center, taler ved:

18:00-19:00: Åbningsreception og forfriskninger i udstillingen

Cisternerne viser fra 21. marts 2017 - 2. februar 2018 totalinstallationen The Water af Hiroshi Sambuichi, hvor hans arbejde med stedets flygtige materialer - lys, luft og vand - bliver demonstreret på en vandring over et underjordisk hav.

Join the lecture and opening ceremony, when we open the exhibition ‘Moving Materials – Hiroshi Sambuichi’ by the world known Japanese architect, Hiroshi Sambuichi.
On April 28th 2017 we have the honor of opening the exhibition 'Moving Materials - Hiroshi Sambuichi'. Before the opening, The Royal Danish School of Architecture in close collaboration with DAC and the Embassy of Japan host a lecture with Mr. Hiroshi Sambuichi.
Hiroshi Sambuichi is one of the primary architects when it comes to sustainable architectural experimentalists. Sambuichi's architecture is inspired by the forces of nature - by the movements in water, light and air. His approach illustrates how sustainable and poetic life in interaction with nature meets the challenges we are facing in the 21st century.
The exhibition and opening programme is a part of the official celebration of 2017 being the 150 year of diplomatic collaborations between Denmark and Japan.

2 pm - 4 pm: Lecture by Mr. Hiroshi Sambuichi at the Royal Danish School of Architecture
5 pm - 6 pm: Exhibition opening at the Danish Architecture Centre, speakers:

- Hiroshi Sambuichi
- Kent Martinussen, CEO, Danish Architecture Centre
6 pm - 7 pm: Opening reception and refreshments

The event and registration consist of two different parts:
- Talk at KADK 2 - 4 pm
- Opening at DAC 5 - 6 pm

The event is conducted in English.
