Katrine Marie Guldagers nye roman Bjørnen tager os med en tur op i de svenske skove nærmere bestemt Värmland. Her tilbringer vi 11 dage med Vibs, der er taget op til familiens afsidesliggende træhytte for at rase ud. Alene. Væk fra det hele. Hun er netop blevet fyret fra sit job som gymnasielærer, datteren er flyttet hjemmefra og hendes blødsødne mand irriterer hende voldsomt. Men i det selvvalgte eksil bliver Vibs fanget i en snestorm, strømmen går, og hun skal pludselig overleve i sneen og skoven. Og så møder hun en bjørn.
Katrine Marie Guldager har med Bjørnen sluppet krønikeskrivningen og skrevet en lille humoristisk og fortættet roman om en kvinde midt i livet med en stærk længsel efter at bryde ud og få styr på kaos. Og om at rumme sine egne mørke følelser.
Kom og hør hende fortælle om romanen. Om vrede, kvinder, mødre og skam i samtale med litterat og kreativ chef Signe Zacher Carlsen.
