Danmark er et drømmeland. Og hvad så? Hvad sker der, når vi har alt - Hvad siger vi? hvad gør vi, hvad længes vi efter, når drømmen er gået i opfyldelse og vi venter på at noget bedre dukker op?
I 20 musikdramatiske tableauer undersøges paradokset imellem at være lykkelig og samtidig utilfreds. Utallige danske sange handler om at længes og drømme. I voksenforestillingen DRØMME OM NOGET ANDET møder vi mennesker der længes gennem sange som fx Danmarks ældste nedskrevne folkemelodi ”Drømte mig en drøm i nat”, Shu-bi-dua’s ”Folkevognen” og Medina’s ”For altid”.
En tragikomisk musikalsk collage om mennesker der har det hele.
