Mette Garfield er forfatter, kunstanmelder og -skribent. Hun debuterede som skønlitterær forfatter med punktromanen Sprækker på forlaget Arkiv for Detaljer samt med en tekst-, lyd- og fotoinstallation med uddrag fra bogen i februar 2019. Hun er redaktør og skribent på bastard.blog. Hendes interesseområder er foruden écriture féminine, performance, eksperimenterende samtidsteater, koreografi og tværdisciplinære kunstpraksisser.

Fortællinger til mørket inviterer tidens danske forfattere til at skrive nye tekster. Det eneste krav, der er blevet stillet til forfatteren, er at der skal skrives til mørket - ikke om, ikke i, men til. Hvilket format forfatteren vælger; digte, noveller eller andet, er de selv herre over.
Vi slukker lyset i lokalet og samles om det fortalte ord. Væk fra os selv, vores hverdag og vores skærme.
