Den grønlandske Nanook-forsanger Frederik Elsner gæster Nordatlantens Brygge med et nordisk band for at spille sange fra sit nye og dybt personlige soloalbum.
Frederik Elsner har i årevis turneret med sit grønlandske band Nanook, både i Grønland og det øvrige Norden såvel som Asien og USA. Undervejs har han gjort sig en del erfaringer og tanker, bl.a. om hvordan musikken skaber fællesskaber, der krydser nationale og kulturelle grænser. Det har givet ham mod på at lave et soloalbum, hvor han inddrager musikere fra Island, Færøerne og Grønland, der hver især bidrager med sit musikalske udtryk til hans personlige sange.
Unik singer-songwriter
Resultatet er et stærkt soloalbum, der genremæssigt ligger i singer-songwriter-traditionen, alt imens musikken samtidig har et særligt nordisk udtryk, og sanger og sangskriver Fredrik Elsners unikke personlighed skinner igennem. Og vi ser frem til en lige så unik koncertoplevelse.
