Support a heartfelt cause ♥ full of beautiful music and great talks for diversity and freedom. Friendships and networks.

A day in the name of freedom and diversity. A venture of speeches, concerts, networking and friendships.

    Freedom Speech

In a world still characterized by stigma, racism, repression and prejudice there is a increasing need to create a platform where we can openly debate how we can make a global sustainable future that could accommodate us all.

The purpose of this event is to create a framework for interpersonal understanding, knowledge-sharing and networking.

An event that links us together, and aims to discuss the importance and value of cultural diversity, due to the UNESCO-convention goal to protect and promote “Diversity of Cultural Expression”

We will discuss the current climate of culture diversity using the Danish environment as the globale scene, and how it is reflected, for example, through media, art institutions and the humanist and political environment.

The format of the event has a strong focus on intercultural dialog and participation, in addition gives the benefit of generating international networks, cooperation and friendships.

The event will be held in english and will be filmed by jazztv.dk.

The goal of this event is to strengthen the curiosity and to embrace the diversity of each other’s cultures.

    Speakers:

On this special evening, we have invited the South African ambassador to Denmark H.E. Ambassador Zindzi Mandela to speak to us. As the youngest daughter of Nelson and Winnie Mandela, she became a freedom fighter and political activist at an early age.

She will share her thoughts and anecdotes from her life where art as a form of expression was considered a threat to the apartheid regime, and where the right for self-expression, was suppressed.

    Open debate

The General Secretary for the Danish national commission for UNESCO; Jens Dalsgaard alongside TV host “Bashy’s Corner” Bashy Quraishy and Amareswar Galla the Executive director at International Institute for the Inclusive Museum will contribute to this event as participants and speakers about cultural diversity in an open dialog with the public.

Moderator: Rikke Jørgensen from Arts & Globalisation.

Come and make your mark on this day, give your contribution to the debate and join together to shed tribute to diversity and make active efforts for freedom and equality in a multicultural world.

We have chosen the National Museum as a framework for this event, as "International movements embrace national traditions and national traditions honor international flows", we continue to create fruitful development and movement.

Freedom speech and Concert is sponsored by Carter Studio

The initiator of the project is Metta Carter. The deep intention behind the event is to give H.E.
