Riverband - har spillet på de danske musikscener i 45 år - siden 1971 – og nærvær og engagement er stadig i højsædet hos dette originale og alsidige jazzorkester.
Riverband - har på sine turneer i ind- og udland nydt stor succes med sin særlige spillestil - en blanding af traditionsbevidsthed og musikalske overraskelser.

Riverbands repertoire består af velkendte temaer fra genrer som traditionel jazz, blues, swing, boogie og latin - samt egne numre. Flere af numrene er komponeret og arrangeret af orkestrets leder, Torben Lassen, og bandets saxofonist Filt Kristensen, og nogle af disse numre er blevet populære klassikere på spillesteder i hele landet.
Riverband - kaster sig ud i elskede klassikere, velkendte sange, elegante arrangementer og inciterende danserytmer. De seks musikeres tætte og dynamiske sammenspil samt evnen til at komme publikum i møde er bandets varemærke.
