Skandinaviens sandsynligvis dygtigste funk musikere formede GADJOS i sommeren 2011. Det startede som et projekt baseret på traditionelle balkanfolk/jazz melodier krydret med funky beats.
I sommeren 2015 startede Gadjos et nyt samarbejde med mester saz/baglama spiller og sanger Orhan Özgür Turan (fra HUDNA). Orhans anatolske rødder og hans alternative baglama spil tilføjer en ekstra dimension til Gadjos' funky lyd. Samarbejdet er et mix af gamle tyrkiske melodier og rif sat sammen med intensive hornmelodier, groovy-beats og Orhans stemme der tilføjer den ekstra finesse til lyden. Lyden af den anatolske funk kombineret med det bedste funkmusik gør deres lyd unik. Bandet har turneret i Skandinavien såvel som Europa. EP er aktuel i foråret.
