I disse dage er det 51 år siden, at Gasolin´- Danmarks største rockband nogensinde - blev dannet på Christianshavn.
Bydelen var en uadskillelig del af bandets historie.
Tag med rundt, og hør om Gasolin´s 9 fantastiske år: Fra starten i Sofiegården i sensommeren 1969, til opløsningen i 1978.
Om bandets dannelse, sangene, medlemmerne, konflikterne - og ikke mindst om lokaliteterne på Christianshavn, der havde så stor betydning for bandets virke.
