Byvandring der følger Rentemestervejs udvikling gennem de sidste årtier med forandringer, gavlmalerier og gentrificering i Nordvest.
Området omkring Rentemestervej i Nordvest undergår store forandringer i disse år. Fra at have været et lidt perifert arbejderkvarter er nye beboere flyttet ind i nye ejerboliger i den nu mere attraktive bydel. Transformationerne stiller spørgsmål til tilhørsforhold, identitet, kultur(arv) og gentrificering. Vi hører om, hvordan en lokal pizza-restauratør har fået kunstnere til at udføre spektakulære murmalerier, der skal forstærke lokal-identiteten i området, hvordan det har været at vokse op og følge Nordvests forandringer gennem årtier, hvordan kvarteret er blevet gentrificeret og om kommunens visioner for Rentemestervej, bl.a. gennem kunsten.
