Ladies and gentlemen! We are so happy to finally announce that Swahili Kitchen is back with new events and surprises.
First of all, we want to introduce our new head chef, Annette Niyomwungere. She’s an inspiring young woman from Burundi, who runs her own catering business “Cooking Avenue”, and is a specialized in cooking African food with a Nordic touch.
We are thrilled about this new collaboration between Swahili Kitchen and Cooking Avenue, which is built on a shared love and passion for east African food and culture.
You will get the chance to experience and taste the result of this collaboration on March 10th. As something new, we will be offering a three-course menu, carefully chosen and prepared by Annette.
You will also be able to get a Kenyan Tusker or a drink with Konyagi. Further, there will be African music and shops where you can get traditional designer clothes and accessories.
More activities for the evening will be announced! The event will take place in the heart of Nørrebro and everybody is welcome.
This is a great opportunity to experience a true Swahili night, so go get your ticket now! We look forward to seeing you and share a great cultural evening with you.
