Ghost Flute & Dice er et elektroakustisk klaverprojekt. Bag kunstnernavnet gemmer sig pianist og komponist Mikkel Almholt, som de seneste 7-8 år har bygget sin egen lille niche af kantet og knudret klavermusik. Med en kombination af præparering af strengene, elektroniske effekter og specielle spilleteknikker vendes vrangen om på klaveret, og der skabes et drømmende og meditativt lydunivers inspireret af glitch, noise og alternativ rock.
Ghost Flute & Dice debuterede i 2011 med pladen "Music for Amplified Piano". I 2015 udkom "melody is god", som kombinerede klaveret med melodi-instrumenter og elektroniske soundscapes. Derimellem er det bl.a. blevet til bestillingsværker til Lyd+Litteratur-festivalen, turneer i Tyskland og USA og en lang række koncerter herhjemme. I november i år udkommer det tredje Ghost Flute & Dice-album, der får titlen ”kropsbygning”.
Til koncerten kan man forvente en del numre fra det nye album. Det er musik, hvor klaverets klange deles op og adskilles både akustisk og elektronisk for at blive samlet igen i små tre-dimensionelle lydskulpturer med mange lag og skarpe teksturer.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Ghost Flute & Dice tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
