Seks performance lectures om klimaforandringeri den globaliserede verden
I et samarbejde mellem Teater Grobs ungdomsforening GROW og TEATER- OG PERFORMANCESTUDIER på Københavns Universitet, opføres en række performance lectures i forlængelse af Teater Grobs teaterværk ”Det 6. Kontinent”. Værket består af 6 sammenhængende forestillinger, som alle enkeltvis behandler emnet GLOBALISERING. Forestillingerne bindes sammen af krydsende rollerelationer, gennemgående tematikker, samt scenografiske elementer, som alle understreger globaliseringens mantra: VI ER ALLE FORBUNDNE.
De seks performance lectures er skabt ud fra de enkelte forestillingers individuelle tematikker, som blev behandlet i “Det 6. Kontinent”: SKRØBELIGHED, TID, AT GØRE EN FORSKEL, FRIHED, TILLID/PARANOIA og DØDEN. De 6 performance lectures undersøger enkeltvis hver en tematik, der danner baggrund i faglig argumentation, som dernæst videreformidles via performative elementer.
Performance lecture er en genre, der blander den akademiske forelæsning med teatrets performative platform. Det rammesatte møder det grænsesøgende. Dette hybridteater blander sig ind imellem performance som genre, og den klassisk opbyggede forelæsning, hvor det akademiske sprog hersker og undervisningshierarkiet håndhæves. Formen spiseliggøres af performative elementer og teatralske virkemidler, som giver den universitetstypiske undervisningsform et nyt arbejdsspektrum. På den måde bliver performance lecture-genren en fusion mellem en faglig formidling og nytænkende scenekunst.
