Oplev Signe Asmussen synge uddrag fra DRYPPENDE STOF – Sapfos fragmenter, en operaperformance af komponist Matilde Böcher og koreograf Jules Fischer, baseret på Mette Moestrups gendigtning af Sapfo.
DRYPPENDE STOF havde urpremiere på Glyptoteket august 2021 og blev genopført samme sted juni 2022. Nu rykker forestillingen til Våndtårnet i en rå og intim solokoncert med sopran Signe Asmussen.
En koncert der sætter lyd på kærlighed, begær, jalousi, guddommelighed og medmenneskelighed.
Digtene af Sapfo fra Lesbos (ca. 630 f.v.t) har gennem generationer vakt opmærksomhed med deres sensibilitet og skildring af kærlighed mellem kvinder. Hos Sapfo smelter det erotiske og kultiske sammen i en hyldest til naturen, kærligheden og det guddommelige.
Efter tusindvis af år er Sapfos digte stadig lige aktuelle med deres universelle temaer, som i DRYPPENDE STOF udfoldede sig i en fejring af det feminine og en hyldest til queer-fællesskaber.
