De balancerer på de skrå brædder med drømme, frygt, ønsker og undres over hvordan de skal nå det hele, hvornår de kommer derhen og hvorfor de overhovedet står der.
Forestillingen er hverken en løftet pegefinger eller en feministisk anklage, men tværtimod et rungende spørgsmålstegn til teaterhistorien, de kvindelige karakterer og samfundets syn på det hele. Kvinderne selv kender ikke svaret, men inviterer publikum med på en ærlig drømmerejse af håb, bitterhed, selvironi og tomrum
