Grønlandsk film er i rivende udvikling. Se fire af de bedste kortfilm og mød instruktørerne Ulannaq Ingemann, Inuk Silis Høegh og Aka Hansen samt Emile H. Péronard fra brancheorganisationen FILM.GL
Lørdag 4. marts kl. 17 på Nordatlantiske Filmdage 2017
Ulannaq Ingemanns intensive drama Upside Down (KiIllormut) handler om at træffe de forkerte valg i livet - og døden. I en ganske anden og mere munter grøft er Inuk Silis Høghs jalousikomedie Good Night (Sinilluarit). Den tog i 1999 hul på et nyt kapitel i grønlandsk film, der siden er blevet markeret af et stigende antal talentfuld instruktører og ikke mindst film, der gør det godt, både i hjem- og udlandet.
Aka Hansens nye dokumentarfilm STG følger et af Grønlands mest populære bands Small Time Giants på en udlandsrejse, hvor vejen til international succes viser sig at være noget snoet. Hendes eksperimentelle film Half&Half tematiserer og debatterer derimod en grønlandsk-dansk identitetskonflikt. Og ud over de tre instruktører kommer Emil Hertling Péronard fra organisationen FILM.GL og drøfter udviklingen i grønlandsk film.
Arrangementet
Filmene vises med engelske undertekster. Arrangementet inkluderer oplæg og samtaler og varer i alt ca. 100 minutter. Dørene og filmcaféen åbner 45 minutter før visningerne.
Billetter: 60 kr.
Nordatlantiske Filmdage 2017:
1.-8. marts præsenterer Nordatlantiske Filmdage spillefilm, dokumentarfilm og kortfilm fra Færøerne, Grønland og Island, tilsat oplæg, instruktørbesøg og debat. Det samlede program offentliggøres 1. februar på www.nordatlantens.dk
