GUD BEVARE DANMARK er en rå, ærlig og musikalsk fortælling om identitet, racisme og loyalitet. Det er ikke underholdning. Det er en nødvendighed.
GUD BEVARE DANMARK er en musikalsk teaterfortælling om Mansur. En dreng født i Danmark med palæstinensiske rødder og med en krop, der hele tiden bliver delt i to: Araber. Dansker. Fremmed. Offer. Trussel.
Forestillingen trækker på Chadis egne oplevelser som dansk-palæstinenser og er en
fortælling, der spænder over generationer: en fars vrede, en mors sorg, et barns tvivl – og en voksens forsøg på at skabe mening midt i kaos.
Efter forstilling er der en Aftertalk med Chadi Abdul Karim samt mulighed for at købe kaffe, te, kage og snacks.
Arrangeret af Palæstinagruppen-Esbjerg i samarbejde med Rytmisk Farvelade Forening og Musikby Esbjerg.
