Mads Nygaard er bl.a. kendt fra DR1-programmet 'Patrioten og Venligboeren', der rullede over skærmene i januar 2017, og han har som forfatter udgivet fem børnebøger og fem romaner. Han kommer til Dronninglund Efterskole for at fortælle om sit arbejde med uledsagede flygtningebørn, hvor han siden 2016 har hjulpet 30 børn med at blive genforenede med deres familier. I foredraget vil Mads komme ind på:
- Hvem er børnene?
- Hvem er forældrene, der sender deres yndlinge alene afsted?
- Hvem har ansvaret for at bringe familierne sammen?
- Og skal de overhovedet hjælpes til at blive genforenet igen?
Om Mads
Født 1969 i Hirtshals, far til tre og forfatter til fem børnebøger og fem romaner, der alle udspiller sig i eller omkring fødebyen Hirtshals. I 2012 modtager af Statens Kunstfonds tre-årige arbejdslegat.
