Verdens Mindste Teater slutter sæsonen af med en storslået tekst af ingen mindre end Nobelprisvindervinder i litteratur 2009 Hertha Müller.
" Siden klokken tre i morges har jeg lyttet til vækkeurets tikken: Tilsagt, tilsagt, tilsagt….. jeg kunne tænke på solsikker, og gjorde det også, men jeg kan ikke samtidig glemme at jeg er tilsagt på slaget ti."
En navnløs fabriksarbejderske er på vej med sporvognen til forhør. Det er ikke noget nyt, det har hun prøvet før - igen og igen. Hun har denne gang pakket sin tandbørste, for det tilfælde at hun denne gang ikke får lov at gå igen.
"I dag havde jeg helst ikke mødt mig selv" handler om livet i et diktatur, Ceausescus Rumænien, den totalitære stats systematiske og traumatiserende undergravning af tillid mellem mennesker.
