SNOS KILDE OG HJORTEHALLEN
3 km vandretur til Snos Kilde og Hjortehallen nordvest for Gl. Lejre. Turen går over Mysselhøj, tæt forbi Sagnlandet Lejre, til Snos Kilde og tilbage over stedet i den nordlige ende af Gl. Lejre, hvor sagnkongernes ældste hal er fundet. Undervejs fortælles om offerplads og sagnet om helten Beowulf. Pause undervejs til spisning af medbragt madpakke.
Estimeret varighed: 2,5 timer. Mødested: P-plads foran Lejre Museum.
Historiske sommervandringer ved Lejre Museum 2021
I samarbejde med Lejre Historiske Forening og Lejre Museumsforening inviterer Lejre Museum til en række af de populære historiske sommervandringer i Lejreområdet. Vandringerne, som både starter og slutter ved Lejre Museum, har fokus på samspillet mellem kultur, natur og bevægelse og ledes af engagerede, frivillige turguider.
Vandringerne ligger torsdage og søndage i månederne juni, juli og august kl. 11. Turene rundes af i Gl. Kongsgaards hyggelige rammer med mulighed for kaffe og kage, som bestilles inden turens start. Der er også mulighed for at opleve spotudstillingen ”Skelettet i kongehallen – Hvem var han?” på Lejre Museum efter turen.
