Strik vanter efter historisk mønster
Lær at strikke dine egne 1600-talsvanter efter et unikt, rekonstrueret mønster.
STORM20 tilbyder 3 eksklusive strikke-workshops, hvor du får mulighed for at være blandt de første, der slår masker op til vanter, der ikke er blevet strikket i ca. 400 år. De tre modeller er uldne og dejligt varme - de stammer alle fra den periode, som også kaldes "den lille istid", på grund af særligt koldt klima.
Alle vanterne er fundet ved arkæologiske udgravninger på Rådhuspladsen. De var i så god stand, at den erfarne tekstilhåndværker, Janne Christensen, var i stand til at genskabe mønster og strikkevejledning, som gør det muligt atter at strikke vanterne. Under kyndig vejledning af Janne strikker vi de historiske vanter.
Ved denne workshop strikker vi de mest enkle vanter. De har "dobbbelt" tommelfinger og initialer. Den "dobbelte tommelfinger" er typisk for ældre tids arbejdsvanter. På denne måde kunne man slide både for- og bagside. En anden fordel var, at hvis indersiden blev våd, kunne man dreje vanten rundt og være tør i håndfladen.
Der er kun plads til 12 - så tilmelding foregår efter "først-til-mølle"-princippet.

Garn er inkluderet i prisen, men du skal selv medbringe strikkepinde i str. 3 1/2. Der skal bruges to sæt pinde: 1 sæt "almindelige" og 1 sæt strømpepinde.
