Mette Martinussen er ikke blot kok – hun er madkunstner. Mette arbejder med kulinariske oplevelser, hvor hun udfordrer de traditionelle formater og udvikler nye, unikke kulturoplevelser, som inspirerer og sætter sig fast.
I 2000 åbnede Mette restauranten 1. th i en herskabslejlighed i København, og i 2006 stablede hun Madeleines Madteater på benene i samme lejlighed. Her skabte Mette helt særlige oplevelser for sine gæster, hvor fortællinger og mad gik hånd i hånd.
Der er ingen tvivl om, at der gemmer sig et stort iværksættergen i Mette, og hendes kærlighed til mad er stor – men hvordan er Mette blevet den madkunstner, hun er i dag? Suhrs Højskole ligger midt i København - lige ved Nørreport Station. Vi er den eneste højskole i hovedstaden, hvor du både kan bo på højskolen eller være dagelev.
Vi er en højskole med primært fokus på madlavning, bæredygtighed, kreativtet og brygning.
