Sådan lød dommen da Danish Music Awards i 2015 uddelede hele to statuetter til Horse Orchestas debutalbum Living the Dream. Det dansk-norsk-svensk-islandske band siden da turneret flittigt i Asien og Europa samt udgivet opfølgeren, Four Letter Word, til strålende anmeldelser.
Horse Orchestra er en ægte smeltedigel. Musikken er en fusion af traditionel jazz, hiphop, noise, barok og fri improvisation - altsammen præsenteret med fyrig rock'n'roll-attitude. Bandet er et vidnesbyrd om en ny generation i nordisk jazz som har styr på deres musikhistorie og som samtidig formår at åbne musikken op for et langt bredere publikum. Klassiske kompositioner fra 20'ernes New Orleans møder her hiphop-beats og freejazz - med afstikkere til rock og renæssancemusik - og skaber et originalt, humoristisk, postmodernistisk udtryk som rækker langt ud over jazzmusikkens normale segment.
Denne aften er den eneste mulighed for at høre Horse Orchestra til årets festival. Orkestret optræder her i en særlig konstellation med saxofonen byttet ud med guitar.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Horse Orchestra tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
