Teatret ”Fyren og Flammen” kan lide at fortælle H. C. Andersens eventyr på alle mulige måder. Og det gør de i forestillingen ”Hos Andersen”, som egentlig er en gadeteaterforestilling.
Men her får børnene en indendørs buket af H. C. Andersens eventyr fortalt i billeder, tekst og dans. Stykket handler om en mand, der kommer forbi med sin fortællevogn. Og så går der en hel masse i gang.
Andersen inviterer et barn fra publikum op på vognen og beder barnet om at sælge tændstikker. Andersen tænder en tændstik og fortæller en historie - én historie for hver tændstik.
