Da den verdenskendte restaurant Noma ville åbne på ny, var det for at bevise at selv verdens bedste restaurant kunne nå nye højder. Det nye Noma skulle skubbe til grænserne og igen være pionerer, men ikke kun indenfor gastronomi også indenfor arkitektur, design, indretning og ikke mindst belysning.
Studio David Thulstrup blev inviteret ind for sikre, at design og indretning ikke kun ville understøtte, men forstærke oplevelsen. Særligt var der store ambitioner for lyssætningen af de nye rammer. Arkitekt og lysdesigner Sarah Fredelund fra Studio David Thulstrup fortæller om deres unikke måde at gribe opgaven an på og hvordan de med deres høje tekniske krav endte med at udvikle en helt ny armaturserie, hvilket også førte til lampeskærme af tang.
