Kom til Indian Movie Night, hvor Aktion Børnehjælp viser dokumentaren In between days af indiske Sankha Biswas. Filmen handler om 16-årige Bubai og Chiranjit, 2 transkønnede barndomsvenner fra et fattigt kvarter i Kolkata, som begynder at prostituere sig for penge. Vi følger dem i modgang og medgang og får et indblik i livet som transkønnet i Indien.
Filmen bliver præsenteret af vores ambassadør Manu Sareen, og efter filmen er der Q&A med Linda Thor Pedersen fra LGBT Danmark. Overskuddet går til at give børn og unge i Indien en bedre og lysere fremtid.
Aktion Børnehjælp arbejder aktivt for, at fattige og udsatte børn og unge i Indien får mulighed for en god barndom og skolegang. Aktion Børnehjælp vil hjælpe familer og lokalsamfund til at skabe bedre vilkår for børn og unge, så de kan skabe deres egen fremtid. Det gør vi ved at sikre bedre udviklingsmuligheder for børn og deres familier gennem sundhed, uddannelse og et bedre livsgrundlag.
