    Polaris – Investing in Good Companies with Great Potential

    Polaris is a leading Danish/Swedish mid-market private equity firm. This open night event will provide you with an insight into how private equity functions and specifically how Polaris work with identifying, acquiring, developing and selling businesses. They will explain their investment structure, investment process, how to evaluate opportunities and how they work with their portfolio companies.

    Simon Wille, Associate Director, and Martin Bang-Löwgren, Director, will explain what Polaris is doing and what it is like to work at a private equity firm. Furthermore, Simon will be presenting the case – acquisition of Louis Poulsen and Martin will be presenting the case – exit of Car-O-Liner. In addition to this, Polaris Analysts will be present at the event to talk about the Analyst program.

    Simon is a home-grown M.Sc., Applied Economics and Finance from CBS, who joined Polaris in 2010. Prior to joining Polaris, Simon was with A.P. Moller – Maersk from 2006-2010.

    Martin is a M.Sc., Industrial Engineering & Management from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He joined Polaris in 2009 and prior to Polaris, he worked in the Investment Banking Division for J.P. Morgan in London 1998-2000 and The Boston Consulting Group in Stockholm 2000-2005. Between 2005 and 2009, he held various positions in the medical technology companies Gambro in Stockholm and Coloplast in Denmark.

      The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes.
