JACK DANIELS' JOHNNY CASH BASH!
Hvornår har du sidst været til koncert med Johnny Cash? Mange nåede desværre ikke at opleve Johnny Cash inden hans død i 2003. Endnu færre mennesker oplevede ham i 1950 og 60’erne hvor myten om ”manden i sort” blev skabt.
Johnny Horsepower inviterer dig til netop denne særlige oplevelse på Lygten og giver alle en gratis sjus af en ny udefinerbar Jack Daniels variant!
Johnny Horsepower er de eneste i kongeriget der dedikeret KUN fortolker Johnny Cash. Udgangspunktet er sounden og instrumenteringen fra 1955 da Johnny Cash & The Tennessee Two slog igennem.
Trioen er ikke blot kendt for deres indlevende sceneoptræden og intense stemning men også for deres gengivelse af den lyd der kendetegner Johnny Cash. Dette har ikke kun gjort dem efterspurgte i Danmark men også i resten af Europa - hvor de bl.a. turnerer flittigt i Sverige, England, Tyskland, Frankrig, Belgien, Schweiz, Italien og Spanien.
Johnny Horsepower har som det eneste Johnny Cash Cover i Europa spillet Shows med Johnny Cash’ ENESTE Trommeslager WS ”Fluke” Holland(1960-2000).
WS Holland er kendt som ” The Father Of Drums” og var inden sin tid med Johnny Cash Trommeslager for Carl Perkins
Supporten kommer fra Juke Joint Jumpers.
Medlemmerne fra kvartetten har tidligere gjort sig gældende i forskellige rockabillybands, og der er således garanti for en swingende aften. I selskab med de fine herrer hylder vi Tennessee, Så hvorfor ikke også høre noget fra Memphis med Elvis Presley?
