Mød japansk design og arkitektur, når Dansk Arkitektur Center og Designmuseum Danmark inviterer inden for i deres udstillinger og byder på japansk street food undervejs!
På Dansk Arkitektur Center (DAC) kan du møde den japanske stjernearkitekt Hiroshi Sambuichi, mens du på Designmuseum Danmark kan gå på opdagelse i det symbolske japanske univers, som har været en stor inspirationskilde for dansk kunsthåndværk og design.
På DAC får du de vigtigste nedslag i udstillingen 'Hiroshi Sambuichi - Moving Materials' om en japansk stjernearkitekt, der skaber bygningsværker i ét med naturen. På Designmuseum Danmark får du en introduktion til udstillingen 'Learning from Japan' der præsenterer museets dragende japanske samling og dansk kunsthåndværk og design med inspiration fra Japan.
På cykelturen mellem de to steder spiser vi japanske sticks fra Yatai by Jens Rahbek og drikker grøn te under de blomstrende kirsebærtræer på Langelinie!
Jens Rahbek har været pionér inden for japansk madkunst. Han er manden bag bl.a. Sticks 'n' sushi, Etika og Ebisu: Jens Rahbek har stået bag flere succeser, der har bragt den japansk mad ind i danskernes hverdag.

Eventet er en del af fejringen af 150 års-jubilæet for det diplomatiske samarbejde mellem Japan og Danmark.
