Der er enestående brasiliansk premierekoncert på programmet når vi afvikler turné med SOUND OF BRASIL. Det er med stor glæde, at vi kan præsentere to af Brasiliens ypperste instrumentalister - Sidiel Vieira (b) og Celso de Almeida (dr). Det danske publikum kan se frem til en aften med fremragende Brasiliansk Instrumentalmusik (MIB).
Sidiel Vieira var med på turné første gang i 2013 og indspillede i 2012 Cd’en Time to Change med Jesper Hedegaard Trio. Celso de Almeida turnerer over hele verden som fast medlem af Rosa Passos gruppe, som besøgte Danmark i 2014.
Stilarten bygger på 60’ernes berømte brasilianske trioer - et spændende og anderledes musikkoncept som både overrasker og begejstrer. På repertoiret er samba, choro, baião og samba-canção. Vi spiller kompositioner af brasilianske mestre samt en række af Jesper Hedegaard.
