Oplev den flere gange prisbelønnede, blot 20 år gamle bassist, Jonathan Wøhlk, i front for sin kvintet bestående af nogle af tidens dygtigste unge jazzmusikere. Der kan garanteres både stærke grooves, sprød jazzharmonik og løsslupne instrumentalperformances, når jazz møder funk i hænderne på unge danske musikere, som har deres vante gang på den internationale professionelle scene.
Jonathan Wøhlk er blevet tilbudt plads på flere af de fineste konservatorier i Europa, men fra september går turen til USA. Han har netop modtaget et fuldt scholarship til det berømte Berklee College of Music, efter at han var én blandt fire finalister i verden til Berklees International Presidential Scholarship.
De seneste år har han spillet alt fra jazzklubber, festivaler og musicalopsætninger til studie-sessions og store pop-koncerter i USA, heriblandt i NYC. Som bassist i alt fra jazz- til popsammenhænge er genren underordnet - fokus ligger i detaljen, musikkens fundament samt vigtigheden af det samlede musikalske udtryk.
