Oplev julestemning på højeste kunstneriske niveau, når det internationalt anerkendte vokalensemble Musica Ficta – under ledelse af dirigent og komponist Bo Holten – inviterer til julekoncert.
I anledning af 500-året for Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina opfører ensemblet hans storslåede og festlige julemesse for dobbeltkor, Missa Hodie Christus natus est. Et mesterværk fra renæssancens polyfone guldalder, fremført af et af Europas førende ensembler inden for tidlig vokalmusik.
Som kontrast til Palestrinas store værk byder koncerten også på et udvalg af de smukkeste danske julesange – en tradition, Musica Ficta er elsket for og har forfinet gennem næsten tre årtier.
Bo Holten binder repertoiret sammen med sin karakteristiske lune og formidling, så publikum føres ind i både musikken og dens historier.
