Kom og oplev julestemningen på Rungstedlund, når vi bager småkager i det originale 60'er-køkken, viser rundt i de gamle stuer og læser op af en ung Karen Blixens julefortællinger på det gamle tørreloft. Turen slutter naturligvis med en smagsprøve på de friskbagte 'baronessekager' og et lille glas portvin.
Omvisningen ledes af kurator John Christensen, der til duften af hjemmebag i køkkenet vil følge dig rundt i huset og fortælle om Karen Blixens jul både her på Rungstedlund og på farmen i Kenya.Karen Krabbe er vores faste julesmåkagebager. Hun har været tilknyttet museet i en håndfuld år som bl.a. frivillig og hun er en værdsat del af huset.
Sif Zander Smit er cand.mag. i Dansk med speciale i Karen Blixen. Hun arbejder på museet med både skriftlig og mundtlig formidling, og vil i denne anledning stå for oplæsningen af et par af de julefortællinger, som Karen Blixen skrev, da hun var omtrent 19 år gammel.
