Julekoncert med Vocamanda på Sostrup slot.
Søndag d.10-12- 2017 kl.15.00
Vocamanda er et klassisk kammerkor, som blev dannet i 2010 af dirigent Amanda Vandt
Ellekilde. Koret har base i Randers og består af dygtige og rutinerede sangerne fra Randers og
Djursland.
Korets repertoire er klassisk vokalmusik, både verdslig og kirkelig, spændende fra tidlig musik
over romantikken til nyere kompositionsmusik, udført med præcision og ægte indlevelse.
Ud over traditionelle korkoncerter har koret siden 2012 samarbejdet med Randers Kammerorkester
og bl.a. opført Faurés ”Requiem”, Vivaldis ”Gloria”, Brittens ”The Company of Heaven”,
Händels ”Messias” og Haydns ”Skabelsen”.
Korets faste akkompagnatør er organist og pianist Jørgen Ellekilde.
Amanda Vandt Ellekilde er uddannet violinist fra Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium, organist
fra Vestervig Kirkemusikskole, og desuden har hun en kandidat i klassisk kor og ensembleledelse
fra Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium.
Jørgen Ellekilde er uddannet pianist fra Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium og har desuden en
kandidat i kirkemusik fra Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, hvor han p.t. studerer på solistlinjen.
Eftermiddagens koncert vil byde på dansk og engelsk julemusik af bl.a. N.W. Gade, Jacob
Lorentzen, Benjamin Britten og John Rutter. Der vil også være mulighed for at synge med på
fællessalmer.
