Karen Blixen elskede at skabe smukke og overdådige blomsterdekorationer, der skulle velkomme og sætte scenen for et besøg på Rungstedlund. Denne arv tager vi videre og laver med Blixens blomsterkreativitet julekranse med alternative elementer.
Kom med på et inspirerende og lærerigt kursus, hvor Karen Blixen Museums blomsterdekoratør Lisbeth Godtkjær vil demonstrere og give fif til, hvordan man kan skabe en anderledes julekrans.
På kurset arbejdes der med sæsonens blomster, grene og planter. Lidt varmt at drikke og adgang til Blixens stuer i museets åbningstid indgår i prisen.
Lisbeth opfordrer til, at deltagerne, ligesom Blixen, selv går på jagt i egne (eller andres) haver, i skoven, ved vejkanten osv. Derfor skal man selv medbringe elementer til kransen. Museet bidrager med tråd til krans, blomstertape, blomstertråd til at binde med og limpistol. Følgende anbefales:
Til en tradition julekrans/dørkrans:
- Buksbom
- Diverse gran, thuja, blød ene eller lignende
- Bær, kristtorn, ildtorn, ilex eller lignende
- Lærkekogler, ellekogler eller lignende
- Gråt mos, sølv poppel eller vild clematis
- Husk saks
Til en lidt krøllet krans:
- Pilegren
- Troldhassel
- Tørrede svampe fra træstrammer
- Æblegrene med lau/mos
- Lærkekogler
- Tørret hortensia
- Små husløg
- Husk saks
OBS. Medbring selv elementer til kransen. Museet bidrager med tråd til krans, blomstertape, blomstertråd til at binde med og limpistol.
